Protecting Our Skies, Preserving Our Future
AtWildlife Protection Services (WPS),we are dedicated to safeguarding North America’s threatened and endangered birds of prey. As anon-profit organization, our mission is to monitor, protect, and preserve species such as the white-tailed hawk, swallow-tailed kite, bald eagle, and american peregrine falcon, while focusing critical conservation efforts on the northern aplomado falcon, currently endangered in Texas.
Through our innovative field box program, we deploy self-contained monitoring stations across the central United States to track bird populations in real time. Many of these majestic raptors are equipped with small microchips, allowing us to collect vital migration and behavioral data. This information is shared with state and federal wildlife agencies, helping guide conservation efforts, habitat restoration, and species recovery programs.
By working together, we can preserve these incredible birds for future generations. Join us in our mission to protect the skies—because every wingbeat matters.
